The Kingston Canvas Select Plus 128GB UHS-I microSDXC Memory Card is a reliable and cost-effective storage solution designed to meet the demands of everyday mobile and digital photography applications. With a capacity of 128GB, it offers ample space for storing a substantial number of high-resolution photos, Full HD videos, and a variety of apps, making it an excellent choice for Android smartphones, tablets, and cameras. This microSD card boasts a UHS-I Speed Class U1 and Video Speed Class V10 rating, ensuring a minimum sustained write speed of 10MB/s. While Kingston advertises read speeds of up to 100MB/s, real-world tests have shown that write speeds can vary, with some users reporting speeds around 21MB/s . Such performance is suitable for capturing Full HD videos and burst-mode photography, though it may not be optimal for 4K video recording or high-speed continuous shooting. Durability is a key feature of the Canvas Select Plus series. The 128GB model is built to withstand harsh conditions, being waterproof, shockproof, vibration-proof, X-ray-proof, and capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 85°C . This ruggedness ensures that your data remains safe even in challenging environments. Included with the microSD card is an SD adapter, allowing for easy use in devices with standard SD card slots. This versatility makes it compatible with a wide range of devices, from smartphones and tablets to digital cameras and laptops. For users seeking a dependable and budget-friendly storage option for everyday use, the Kingston Canvas Select Plus 128GB microSDXC Memory Card offers a solid balance of performance and durability. However, for tasks requiring higher write speeds, such as 4K video recording or intensive gaming, exploring higher-end options like the Kingston Canvas Go! Plus series may be beneficial.
